We have seen so many cute chalkboards, that we decided to make our own. We applied Chalk It Up! To a metal blank, then hired a company to bend the edges for us, it turned out beautiful. After that we used Design Vinyl to embellish and add sections to the chalkboard. We also made magnets using acrylic squares, scrapbook paper and adhesive… totally custom! On these samples we applied the Foil’n Around adhesive to shoes, let it dry, then applied various colors of foil to make adorable children’s shoes. Then we tried it on a photo box, it turned out amazing! The gold on black is stunning and really dresses up a plain box.

This adhesive can be applied freehand, then after it dries all you do is rub on the foil and ta-da, you have a finished product.

We took all of the Bling It On! products, mixed them together and came up with some beautiful finished pieces. The sky is the limit when you let your creative juices flow. This project was a blast! We used the Brookie Craft Sticky Back! product to create a stencil for our custom door mat. You can cut Sticky Back! with scissors or any home cutting device. We cut out lettering and square blocks, then used Brookie Craft H20 Ink to stencil our pattern directly on to the mat. It turned out so cute, we hope it inspires you to create one of your own!

Our favorite thing is that it allows you to take very inexpensive items and turn them into custom, very cute key pieces at your bash! This Particular party (see picture) was a summer luau birthday party. We customized each piece to match our theme, from serving platters to Frisbees. We did place mats to match the margarita glasses and even mini torches to add a little beach party feel.
